Where to Buy Meat and Seafood?

You might be all set on grocery options in quarantine (read the compiled list here), or you might be constantly on the hunt like us. Lately, my Instagram feed has been filled by boxes of fresh produce & fruits (several options listed here), and meat subscription boxes. We would get excited by some good looking options, like Butcher Box, only to be disappointed by the waiting list on their website. Here are some of the options we find that you can place an immediate order from in April 2020.

Snake River Farms: family-owned online shop; premium beef and pork; not cheap, but seems to have high-quality products.

Porter Road: offers subscription boxes in addition to buying certain cuts, ranging from $4-7/serving; carries beef, pork, lamb, chicken, sausage; sometimes has interesting 10lb bundles and soup bones.

Rastelli’s: from ground beef to salmon fillets, bulk items of meat & seafood can be bought and shipped. The unit pricing is more reasonable than the premium vendors (12 servings of chicken drumsticks cost $28), though the shipping can be a bit of a sticker shock ($25 shipping for orders under $99). You might want to really stock up to take advantage of the free-shipping-over-$200 offer!

Omaha Steaks: the selection on this site is HUGE. From meat to seafood to sidedishes to wine. Some combo and orders over $169 grant free shipping. Have fun exploring!

Vital Choice: abundant wild or organic meat and seafood with 3 seafood subscription boxes. Free shipping on orders over $99. During COVID-19, the typical delay appears to be 7-9 days.

Greensbury: another wild/organic meat and seafood grocer. They offer a dedicated page for the inventory available through COVID-19 where you can shop for your pot roast and perhaps a new knife!

Wild Alaskan Company: monthly box of wild-caught fish. They currently have three plans, each containing 12 or 24 servings of wild salmon, wild white fish, or wild combo. $9.95 shipping/box.

Tribali Foods: beef, chicken, turkey patties and breakfast sliders; monthly subscription offers free-shipping.

How have you been shopping for meat/seafood? Do you know of any other place that delivers? Please comment below and let us know!
